Jeannie has been shown today for the first time in YEARS, and this is her first appearence in the "Honor Class" (all dogs over 8 years of age).
She ia a very compatable show-dog and makes as if she's never been out of the ring! She is very relaxed and nothing can upset her. She's just happy to be the center of attention.
Read her critc:
9 year old bitch, very nice overall appearence, typical feminine head, scissors bite, ample length of neck, lovely tightened back, well-sound developed chest and angulation, lively movement.

She raised her last litter and once again proved herself as an excellant and wonderful mother.
Now she is enjoying her retirement!

We were once again at show, and this time Jeannie won the Honor Class over the dog and was given Best Veteran!!! We then represented the Bearded Collies in the main ring. That was a wonderful experience. I am so proud of my blondie!

Jeannie loooooves this unusual, hard north German winter. Snow is the perfect thing for all Beardies. They just "flip out"!
Jeannie is of good health for her almost 10 years. She has become more sedate, but she still has a lot of temperament. "Throw that d....ed ball!"

She is nearly 10 years old!
Jeannie is now 11 years old! We love our "Blondie" so very much....and she remains the to be the golden girl in our life!

Our "Blondie" is now 11 and a half years old.
She has become a bit calmer, but eveso there is still a ton of Beardie-fire in her! Unfortunately, she was infected with Borreliose from a tick bite in the summer, and she's not yet back to her normal fit self. But we trust, that she will recover soon.
April 10, 2014 - 14 years old!
It's downright awesome how well Jeannie is doing in her 14th year of life. She is still full of strength and energy and loves to go "power walking" with me and the other Beards every day....several kilometers, mind you! She has such a wonderful, strong charachter and as she ages, she gets so cuddly! We wish her a few good, happy years with us, yet.

Jeannie turned 15 years old today!!!
Aside from a few age-related health issues, our beautiful "old Lady" is doing amazingly well for her age. She is still very vocal....when it comes to food and she enjoys her long trips in the buggy! We hope to have her with us a long time yet!

We are sad to report, that our most beautiful and first-bred girl has gone over the Rainbow Bridge. She is terribly missed by us, but are thankful to have had the joy of her company, nearly 16 years long.
Her legacy goes in her children, grand-children and great-grand-children.
She is now with her Mommy-Jessye.
Sleep tight my blond princess. We love you so much.

Today we celebrate the burfday of our magic-girl. 12 years ago, she was born into our house with our first litter and therefore gave our lives so much joy. I still find her so beautiful and so full of charachter, even though she is of the older generation.
April 10, 2013 - 13 years old!!
We are so enthused about our "Blondie" that she is so top fit yet at 13 years of age. Jeannie stills wants to *herd* the deer in the woods - much to my chagrin - and has nearly no sign of getting old.
She gets tablets against her arthritic aches and pains but otherwise she's just as fit as can be!
